However, when you turn the darn thing off from the reverse screen (which is what would happen if you forgot, and the car slammed on the brakes), it stays OFF permanently. Once the RAB is triggered or disabled, it will stay disabled on the screen. If the system was triggered normally (brakes kicked in) then when you put it in drive, the system should reset.
